Emily Anderson I am beginning my junior year at Tufts University. I took classes with Dawn from the time I was 5 years old until I was 18 and graduating high school. It is because of Dawn and the support of my parents that I have chosen to pursue art history in college. This spring I plan to study abroad in northern Italy to further expand my knowledge in art history, specifically the Italian Renaissance. I am also double majoring in archaeology. This summer I participated in my first archaeological field project in Sicily. At Tufts, I participate in the theater department as a costume designer and technician. Designing and building costumes acts as my creative outlet. |
I have also taken up knitting as my new art form. I am an officer of the Tufts Knitting Club in order to spread the joys of knitting to others.Even though I no longer take art classes, I am still finding ways to express myself through art whether it is studying it, making costumes, or even knitting.
Dawn is amazing with kids. Kids love her and she is great at getting the most incredible art work out of them. She is aways willing to try new things and experiment to find just the right projects for her students.
