Summer Camp

Summer Camps

Children's camps for ages 5-9 will be held in the mornings from 9:00 a.m to 11:30 a.m. Camps for ages 10 and up will be held in the afternoons from 12:30 to 3:00. All camps are $170 unless otherwise noted, with half of the fee due at registration. Older students can also sign up for independent portfolio work in the afternoons.

June 16 - 20: Bookmaking

Learn to make unusual and creative books using clay, wood and paper.

June 23 - 27: Superheroes

This has been a special request for several years. We'll learn to draw and create some of the kids' favorite superheroes

June 30 - July 3: Australian Art

Learn to draw animals from Australia and use some of the techniques used by the Australian Aboriginals. (4 day camp: $136)

July 7 - 11: Mask Extravaganza

Kids love making masks. Masks have been made worldwide as long as there have been people making art. We'll make big masks, little masks and masks that are drawn and painted.

July 14 - 18: Art of Dr. Suess

One of my favorite artists, Dr. Suess was all brilliant colors and creative imagination. Not only will the kids learn to draw Dr. Suess characters, they will also make 3-d sculptures, just like Dr. Suess.

July 21 - 25: Dogs and Cats

Back by popular demand! This is always an extremely fun favorite of all the kids. Learn to draw, paint and sculpt the most popular family pets.

July 28 - August 1: Wonderful World of Disney

Another camp back by popular demand! There are so many Disney favorites it's hard to find time to create them all.

August 4 - 8:

Morning Session: Repeat Dogs and Cats
Afternoon Session: Wizards, Dragons, and Wild Things

So many kids are fascinated with the imagery and wonder of mythical creatures!

August 11 - 15: Fairy Tales

Rapunzel, Jack and the Beanstalk, and Red Riding Hood are just a few of the fairy tales we will sculpt and draw.

August 18 - 22: Time Traveling

One of my favorite things to teach is art history. This camp will lightly touch on art from around the world as well as different eras.

Camps are $170 per week unless otherwise specified. Half of the fee is due on registration, the other half is due on the first day of camp.

Email or call (972) 596-6077 to register, then print and mail the Registration Form with 50% deposit check!
